Book Club Ministry

The Body of Christ at large is filled with great authors who have done incredible spiritual work for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Our Book Club Ministry is designed to seek our Lord for those books that aid in the spiritual growth and development of our church. Each book is selected by the Holy Ghost and the participants are led of the Holy Ghost to read the books. At the end of the assignment our leader facilitates a class to enhance what we learned. Camp J.C.

Camp J.C. is a 3-5 day summer camp designed to set youth on fire for Jesus.“Junior Christians for Jesus Christ” is a fun filled, faith filled adventure to stir up the fire of the Love of Jesus Christ in the hearts of our youth. The camp is for ages 7-18. The camp focuses on teaching the youth to master four key principles of Christianity. Contact: Minister Yalonda Haywood.

Children’s Ministry

The focus of this ministry is to begin the preliminary teachings on LOVE, FAITH, OBEDIENCE and PRAYER. Our goal is to have them ready for Youth Ministry when they arrive. We are determined in this area not to be a nursery but a spiritual development center. We believe in the power of their innocence and the simplicity of their childlike faith that Jesus spoke about. Family Life

Abundant life in the Kingdom of God has to be realized in the home before it can be felt throughout the church. Surely Jesus would not call us to a Kingdom that has less order than the world! The mandate of this ministry is to demonstrate up close and personal how to master our roles in the home and maintain holy, practical, daily order in our homes. From the standard of cleanliness to the raising of our children, all aspects of Family Life are touched. All areas of our lives are to be surrounded in the Victory that was won for us by Jesus Christ. Contact: Ministers Karl and Harriett Redd.

Watchmen on the Wall Intercessory Prayer Team (W.O.W)

Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence. And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.” – Isaiah 62:6-7

Prayer is the backbone of the church. The Lord our God builds His house in prayer. Our Lord has assigned us to place the watchman, intercessors, pray-ers on the wall who will not be satisfied until all the promises of God are realized for this church and for the Kingdom. Beginning prayer classes are offered to everyone to teach the Purpose, Power and Passion of Prayer. From those classes, intercessors usually realize their calling and go on to fulfill it in W.O.W.

Intercessors are taken through an extensive training period to learn how to keep their watch. There’s no better indicator of how effective we are in intercession than answered prayer! W.O.W. is geared at teaching the intercessors to walk in their Luke 18:1 anointing and get the answers to Spirit-led prayers. Contact: Minister Chrissy M. Pate.
