Blood of the Lamb is a "new wine skin" church. The church is built on the doctrine of Jesus Christ as led by His Spirit. It is an apostolic church that celebrates, appreciates, and cultivates the five-fold ministry gifts. We are the "vineyard" that the Father has planted. Jesus Christ is the TRUE VINE and we are the branches. Daily we are being purged and pruned by our Father, the Husbandman that we may bring forth fruit. The result of the labor of the Vinedresser is that we will be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ that He may truly be the first born amongst many brethren.
The Blood of the Lamb speaks of the LOVE of the LAMB. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. This kind of self-sacrificial giving exemplifies how great a love that the Father has towards His creation. Then Jesus said no man took His life from Him but He gave it up freely. Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down His life for His friends. The Blood is the GREAT symbol of the Father and the Son's love toward us. Through the acceptance of the blood as a remission of our sins, we are transformed by its power into the instruments of LOVE. By this shall men know that we are His disciples because we love one another. Not by prosperity, service, brotherhood or benevolence shall men know that we are true Disciples of Jesus Christ, but by our LOVE which is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Spirit which is given unto us.
The Lamb speaks, of Jesus Christ being the Lamb of God. He is our ULTIMATE and PERMANENT sacrifice for our redemption.
The name Blood of the Lamb (BOLD) shows our reverence and esteem for our saviour Jesus Christ and our great faith in the POWER of the BLOOD of His sacrifice on the cross.
VISION
The Lord Jesus Christ has so graciously summarized the Vision of this church in three simple words, which are His commandment to us:
EVANGELIZE, BAPTIZE, AND EDUCATE UNTIL JESUS CHRIST RETURNS!
The Lord spoke to us that our job is to fulfill the mandate that Jesus Christ gave the church in The Great Commission. He has instructed us to be diligent and fervent in prayer. All of the work of this ministry is primarily accomplished in prayer. The Lord has made this a House of Prayer for all nations.
God has given us to pray for the Spirit of Evangelism to fall on this Body so that we go out by the leading and direction of the Holy Ghost and evangelize where He instructs us as the old saints did in the Book of Acts. If we fish where the Lord instructs us to, we will catch a great harvest of souls for the Kingdom of Our God.
We are to baptize the believer into the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And finally, we are to educate this church in the practical application of the Word of God. Our mandate is to teach people how to walk daily with the Word of God being a lamp
